Welcome to YSH Studio....
Fine Artist, Yvonne (nee Sherring) Maclean opened her business, Ysh Studio after graduating (BAFA). Ysh Studio provided a focus for Yvonne’s newly thriving fine arts practice. Over the years, this grew to include business streams across digital art and design, face and body painting, mural work, fine arts teaching and a combined Arts Psychotherapy-Psychodrama, clinical practice and Supervision.
Exhibiting broadly, achieving numerous commissions, contracts and the completion of significant further study (MA ATh and Psychodrama Accreditation), has for the last two decades meant Yvonne’s Studio Arts practice and creative business, has been complemented by specialist Arts Psychotherapy, Allied Health, Clinical Employment in 'Community Palliative Care’. Yvonne's educated sensitivity of the beneficial uses of the arts in good health care, has led to her work in multidiscipline care teams, providing arts therapy with individuals and families. Additional training in her field, led to Yvonne being recognised for the past decade, as an Artist, Arts Psychotherapist Supervisor in her Professional Registration with ANZACATA.

Since 1998 Yvonne has operated YSh Studio producing and selling fine artworks for exhibition and commission, painting drawing and printmaking, portraiture, life drawing, and 'Symbolist' inspired works. The artist's focus of creating meaningful works that connect people in their living and working spaces, to their 'best' self has most recently led to adding design and illustration to her studio practice..
Yvonne's studio practice has grown to integrate her Local Government work with young people, families, and community and today occurs alongside her employment, as a professionally registered art psychotherapist specialising in community palliative care.

Yvonne is passionate about children, the use of arts in health, and healthcare excellence.
Having initially been invited to paint for the Jeans for Genes charity, Yvonne's 20+year commitment, supporting the work of the scientists at the Children's Medical Research Institute, 'CMRI', Sydney, Australia, led to her painting for their charity Gala Art Auction Events alongside some of Australia's most prominent artists.
Each portrait art work incorporated Celebrity signed denim jeans the sale of which led to well over $100,000 being raised.

With formal Psychodrama Director Accreditation and Master of Arts, Arts Therapy qualifications, Yvonne maintains her professional Fine Arts studio practice alongside employment in the health sector as Arts Therapist working in home-based Palliative Care and Bereavement Care in Melbourne Australia. Since 2006 Yvonne's family and individual client care practice has included supporting and educating health care professionals utilising her formal Psychodrama accreditation within her art therapy practice.
Over the years Yvonne's has undertaken significant supervision and supervison training and now supports art therapy supervisees with Person Centred, Psychodynamic, expressive, arts based approaches in supervision, informed by Systemic and Role-based theories.
Yvonne has enjoyed presenting and contract teaching in a variety of community arts venues, galleries, Arts in Health and *ANZACATA Conferences and education settings.
Yvonne has dedicated time to collating experiential practice-findings from Pilot Programs, into Clinical Poster's, papers, workshops, and classes for presentations across the fields of fine arts, arts psychotherapy and psychodrama, Arts in Health, Palliative and Bereavement Care. A genuine love of learning has led Yvonne to enjoy a variety of specialist learning from leading identities in each of her fields of interest and work.
