Having completed Bachelor of Arts Fine Arts + Visual Arts Education Postgraduate studies, artist Yvonne Maclean (then Sherring) started the business 'YSh Studio'. Since then she has exhibited, completed commissions and sold her artworks nationally and internationally.

 

Completion of Psychodrama Director Accreditation studies and a Master of Arts Arts Therapy, allowed Yvonne to complement her studio art practice with engaging community and individuals in the use of the arts for good health.

 

Yvonne's work continues as a professional fine artist, and as an Arts Psychotherapist specialist Palliative Care clinician, working in multidisciplinary teams in the community for the past 15 years plus. Over time Yvonne has taught, run workshops and presented from her passions to a range of people in a range of settings and at a variety of conferences.

 

Charitable celebrity portrait artworks made for the Jeans for Genes campaign has assisted the scientists at the CMRI Sydney, Westmead via Yvonne's painting sales at the Gala Art Auctions making over $100,000 in her 20 years involvement.
