YVONNE MACLEAN
FINE ARTIST

About
A seasoned professional, Yvonne has undertaken countless commissions and exhibited broadly in a number of solo and group shows.
'In my work I explore the sensitivity and fondness I have for people and their stories via drawing, painting, printmaking and digital art design.
I am curious about the effect our favourite objects, places, and memories have on our identity.
I take time to dwell and connect with literal and ‘felt’ elements to make my art forms, building 'visual' meanings and new stories as I go that thread dreaming with a felt connection of exploring life experiences between celebration and loss. At times I lean into a ‘Symbolist' lens provided by artists from the late 1800’s/ early 1900’s.'

Mission
“Collaborating with my patrons to achieve their art works, their contracts, their commissions is thrilling.
I love to take spontaneous ideas through their paces and achieve a beautiful original work.

I have an affinity with it, a basic need to respond to the world by creating works of art that foster my genuine love of connecting with beauty, nature, people and our/their stories..."
