Working from where you are...

It's been an interesting few months, mainly working on plans for the year and also starting back in the studio, with a practice-replenishing day trip visiting the 'Dangerously Modern' must see exhibition at the Gallery of NSW. How wonderful.
Portraiture sittings have kept me busy and whilst feeling my process as a little slower this time of the year, the Summer heat has been beautifully welcome.
Just today I've noticed the work put into the Dahlia bed is starting to yield - yes this late in the season. Signals of blooms arriving today has added a 'plein air' path to my studio arts schedule for the coming weeks... weather permitting of course, and all in between the online Arts Therapy Supervision work I am deidcated to and my loved face painting markets and events work.
So for now it's the juggle between family and professional life, enjoying the change of seasons in my home base with loved ones, whilst deep diving into some delicious international Bilateral Neuro & Trauma expressive arts therapy education, great business connection and development work and of course being in the studio enjoying painting and drawing portraits, botanical studies and the narrative, childhood focussed, symbolist works I adore.
Stay tuned for more from the YSH Studio.
All the very best for your year ahead.
